AK holds it down with some grimy visuals for "Medulla."

If you don't know now you know. New York duo The Underachievers consists of Issa Gold and AK The Savior, who recently dropped off his brand new Second 2 None mixtape; peep that right here. In tandem, the underrated lyricist has crept through with some hazy visuals for "Medulla," the project's official lead single. Directed by B.U.T.T.A, the clip finds AK navigating the the depths of his hood, all while cast in an eerie, blue tone.

Insofar as modestly budgeted videos are concerned, B.U.T.T.A. and AK make due with what they have, coming through with a polished and visually engaging finished product. It's a testament to AK's rising status as a solo artist, and proof that he can carry a narrative on his back off the strength of performance alone.

While no word of a new Underachievers project has reached our ears, we can only hope that AK's latest drop is a precursor to an increased flurry of activity.
