DJ Akademiks was at the New York Knicks game on Tuesday evening, and he claims a man associated with Jay-Z was heckling him.

DJ Akademiks made a big deal about himself attending the New York Knicks' season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night. Several videos from his night out went viral, including one of him saying he wanted wings instead of steak at the food court. He would then go on to taunt the likes of Meek Mill and Tylil.

On Wednesday evening, Akademiks returned to stream and briefed his fans on the experience. It was there that Ak stated he got to meet up with Funk Flex, who also had an eventful evening.

However, Akademiks also had his fair share of detractors in the building alongside him. He alleges that a 60-year-old white man was heckling him. The hip-hop commentator says he eventually found out that the man is allegedly a Roc Nation employee and jeweler for Jay-Z.

DJ Akademiks Vs. Roc Nation

Akademiks did not give a name, and he did not provide any concrete proof that this is the case. He simply made his allegations and kept it moving. However, he used this as an example of people not appreciating who he is and what he stands for.

In the past few years, Akademiks has become increasingly critical of Roc Nation. This has been especially true in the aftermath of Drake's beef with Kendrick Lamar. Ak is part of the contingent of conspiracy theorists who believe Roc Nation is some Illuminati-type force in the music industry.

Whatever the case may be, Akademiks is someone who doesn't back down from his opinions often. This has certainly made him a target of vitriol from other artists and content creators. That said, it doesn't appear as though Ak is interested in toning himself down, anytime soon.
