Almighty Jay drops off some new heat.

Almighty Jay’s career has gone through some serious ups and downs, from being part of a trio alongside Cordae and YBN Nahmir to dating Blac Chyna. While he’s not necessarily in the headlines the way he once was, he has kept his foot on the gas throughout 2026. Most recently, Almighty Jay came through with his single, “when?” Leaning into a more melodic and spacey realm, the song finds Almighty Jay exploring his R&B side more concretely with the assistance of some R&B and some spiteful lyrics. The new song comes after the release of singles like “addicted.” and “one time.” earlier this year. Check out his new single below and sound off with your thoughts below.

Quotable Lyrics From Almighty Jay’s “when?”

Jumpin’ off a yacht everyday in Miami
At the dock on Collins
Why did you drop out of college?
How could you give up your goals and just turn to the streets
Girl, you should be a scholar
