Who Dat Is Young Nudy Who Dat Is Young Nudy
"Who Dat Is" by Young Nudy is one of his most relentless singles as of late, as Nudy stays on point throughout its runtime.

Young Nudy has been one of the most consistent Atlanta artists over the past few years. You often know exactly what you're going to get from him, something he proves to great effect on his new single "Who Dat Is." The Bouldercrest MC chooses to focus more on lengthy verses and persistent flows instead of a more snappy song structure, and its simple approach keeps a lot of the song's energy intact as a result. Trap drums don't have much else to work with beyond a brash brass lead, but Nudy keeps it all in check. Hopefully we have a new project on the way to enjoy him in a broader album experience.

Quotable Lyrics from Who Dat Is

Pull up in that four-door, hoppin' out, nothin' but two hitters,
We don't do no third party unless a b***h gon' get 'em,
Tender-a** n***a, fry him like a chicken tender,
Have a n***a spinnin' all day like a blender

About The Author
Gabriel Bras Nevares is a staff writer for HotNewHipHop. He joined HNHH while completing his B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication at The George Washington University in the summer of 2022. Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Gabriel treasures the crossover between his native reggaetón and hip-hop news coverage, such as his review for Bad Bunny’s hometown concert in 2024. But more specifically, he digs for the deeper side of hip-hop conversations, whether that’s the “death” of the genre in 2023, the lyrical and parasocial intricacies of the Kendrick Lamar and Drake battle, or the many moving parts of the Young Thug and YSL RICO case. Beyond engaging and breaking news coverage, Gabriel makes the most out of his concert obsessions, reviewing and recapping festivals like Rolling Loud Miami and Camp Flog Gnaw. He’s also developed a strong editorial voice through album reviews, think-pieces, and interviews with some of the genre’s brightest upstarts and most enduring obscured gems like Homeboy Sandman, Bktherula, Bas, and Devin Malik.
