Rick Ross took to social media following his arrest, and proclaimed his innocence following accusations of domestic violence.

Earlier this morning, Rick Ross was arrested and charged with felony battery by strangulation and misdemeanor battery. These charges stem from allegations by a former romantic partner, claiming he slapped her, punched her, and even choked her in the midst of a dispute on August 28.

These allegations align with Jazzma Kendrick's social media posts from over the weekend. TMZ initially reported that a woman called the police on Tuesday. Rick Ross was made aware of the impending charges, and it led to him surrendering at the Miami-Dade County jail this morning.

Ross was eventually given $6000 bond and had a court hearing, which led to the judge telling him that she was not aware of his celebrity status. Following the hearing, he was released from jail and took to social media, where he proclaimed his innocence from the seat of his car.

Rick Ross Speaks Out

However, just a few moments before that, Rick Ross was swarmed by reporters outside of the jail. It was here that he offered up his own account. He said that the allegations were baseless, and that he was looking forward to winning his case. Furthermore, he said he would be in Dubai and Paris soon, eating a big bowl of Rigatoni with Marinara sauce.

These allegations are extremely serious, although it doesn't appear as though Rick Ross is particularly worried given his demeanor in these videos. At this time, his case remains ongoing after pleading not guilty.
