Rick Ross’ Ex Jazzma Kendrick Speaks Out After Abuse Claims

Support has been pouring in for Jazzma Kendrick since she accused Rick Ross of physically abusing her, and she says the response helped reassure her that speaking publicly was the right decision. The model returned to Instagram on Monday to thank people who reached out after she shared photos of an injured lip and identified Ross as the person she says caused it.

“To everyone who reached out, sent love, or just held space for me, thank you,” Kendrick wrote. She added that she had seen the messages even if she had not answered them, then told followers, “I want you to know I’m OK.”

Kendrick clarified that the alleged incident happened about a month ago, giving her time to process what she says occurred before posting about it publicly. “Speaking up wasn’t easy, but your support reminded me I made the right choice,” she wrote. She ended the update with a message for anyone facing something similar before saying she was ready to get “back to living my life.”

The allegations first surfaced Saturday after Kendrick responded to a follower who commented on a selfie and said they could see what Ross saw in her. “He saw a punching bag,” Kendrick replied. She later posted images showing what appeared to be a swollen lip, writing that one photo was taken “the day Rick busted my lip and the day I left.” Another image showed a visible injury inside her upper lip.

Kendrick also urged others not to remain in relationships after physical violence. “If a man hits you one time, he will do it again,” she wrote. Her posts did not include a police report or indicate whether law enforcement became involved.

She and Ross had been linked since at least August 2025 and later appeared together publicly after an earlier breakup. Their most recent public outing was in August. Ross has not publicly addressed Kendrick’s allegations, and his representative did not respond to requests for comment from People or Us Weekly.
