John Legend has delivered his new song "Daylight," which comes off his new album, "Muse," entirely produced by Pharrell.

On Tuesday, John Legend announced a new album called Muse, dropping on October 23. What makes this album special is that Pharrell will produce it entirely. Pharrell is set for a big year, especially as he works on a new album with Quavo. That said, Legend and Pharrell followed up this announcement with a new single. "Daylight" is a gorgeous song in which Legend sings over orchestral arrangements that provide flourishes of strings and horns throughout. Legend's melodies here are catchy, especially as Pharrell's signature drums come in to provide some rhythmic support. This song proves that these two are completely locked in right now.

Quotable Lyrics from Daylight

The poetry is here somewhere between the lines
The rhythm’s kept by a heartbeat, both yours and mine
You take everything I knew and make it feel brand new
And I wanna take my time and make you feel that too
