Keefe D is currently on trial for the murder of Tupac Shakur, and the livestream currently shows opening arguments.

Duane "Keefe D" Davis is going on trial for the murder of Tupac this week. Just last week, the jury was officially selected. However, today, opening arguments are going down as Keefe D stands accused of producing the weapon that killed the rap legend, while also allegedly orchestrating the murder.

It has been stated that Davis was not the man who fired the weapon. That said, Davis has bragged about his alleged involvement in the murder during numerous interviews. Furthermore, his recent memoir will be used as evidence, which does not bode well for the 64-year-old.

Since his arrest in 2023, Keefe D has denied any involvement in the murder. If convicted, he faces life in prison. He would effectively spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Today, a livestream is being broadcast online, in which you can watch opening statements. In fact, below, you will be able to find the aforementioned livestream, courtesy of TMZ.

This is going to be one of the biggest hip-hop trials in quite some time. Of course, the murder of Tupac Shakur has been a mystery that hip-hop fans have contemplated for decades. Next month will mark the 30th anniversary of the rapper's death, and by then, fans will potentially have some answers by the end of this trial.

With this trial being televised online, there is no doubt that there is going to be quite a bit of public interest. It is a true crime case that has lacked closure for Tupac's family. Perhaps by the end of all of this, that closure will have materialized.

Stay tuned to HNHH for updates on this trial.
