Grammy award winner Zaytoven is back to producing and financing films again. Today's the final submission date for his new film venture on Amazon Prime entitled Bird of a Feather 2. The legendary ATL producer saved himself an acting role next to an ensemble list of actors (some with less experience than others) that includes Kash Doll, Trouble, Al Nuke, OJ Da Juiceman, Josiah McCormick, and a few others he hopes to keep secret from the peeping toms.
The story is centered around a burgeoning music scene where two emerging artists both stake their claim to supremacy, backed by rival producers. Think West Side Story meets Hustle & Flow, but with a heightened sense of realism. Zaytoven describes his role within the film as such:
"Y’all look out for my movie Birds Of A Feather Part 2, my best movie yet,” Zaytoven told HipHopDX. “It’s definitely gonna surprise everybody because I have to do a real acting job in this movie. So I dig deep, and tried my best to bring my acting chops out." Even Metro Boomin graces the screen, but in a less demanding "eponymous role."
