A TDE Artist Is Dropping New Music Tonight
Top Dawg Entertainment always keeps us on our toes, and we’ve all learned our lesson after they pulled the bait and switch by dropping new Kendrick when it was literally the last thing on everyone’s minds. Label CEO Anthony Tiffith is teasing us again, tweeting out very recently that he “will drop something when my plane touchdown in LA 2nite… kool?”
TDE Co-President Punch Plans To Finally Release An Album
TDE co-president Terrence "Punch" Henderson stays behind the scenes most of the time, operating alongside CEO Anthony Tiffith in the shadows. When he does come out of the shadows, it’s to release the occasional musical track. Punch appears on Kendrick Lamar’s recent untitled unmastered. on track 5 of the album to contribute a verse, and this time he won’t be ducking back into the background so quickly.
LeBron James Thanks Kendrick Lamar For His Musical Inspiration
We all have LeBron James to thank for the recent surprise album from Kendrick Lamar, untitled unmastered., which became available across online retailers last Friday (Mar. 4).
Kendrick Lamar To Release Surprise Album "Untitled Unmastered"
UPDATE: The album, untitled unmastered., has landed on Spotify (see above screenshot), but the stream isn't working...yet. Many are expecting the stream to become available at midnight, as was the case with To Pimp a Butterfly. Judging by the album artwork, it doesn't look like anything will change with regard to all the "untitled" tracks, but keep it locked here for more updates.
A TDE Project Is Dropping One Random Night This Week
Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony Tiffith is really not playing. He’s been taking heat from impatient fans and label signees alike over the past few months, as people are itching to hear more from his label’s powerhouse of artists.
Top Dawg Says Schoolboy Q’s Album Is Dropping Before Summer

Jay Rock To Be Released From Hospital In "A Few Days"
Jay Rock gave his fans an enormous scare last weekend when he got in a serious accident while riding his motorcycle. Jay Rock Severely Injured In "Bad" Motocycle Accident
While Kendrick Lamar was busy tearing the stage down at the 58th annual Grammy’s Monday night, his fellow TDE counterpart, Jay Rock, was unfortunately involved in a “bad accident” on his motorcycle. Taking to twitter Monday night, TDE president Top Dawg tweeted out, "Pray 4 @jayrock he had a bad accident on his motorcycle.. He's hurt pretty bad...” While no other information has been released at the moment, we’ll definitely keep you posted as more on this surfaces. Prayers up for Jay Rock.
Ab-Soul: "This Bench Is Getting Warm As Fuck"
Top Dawg Entertainment’s stable of emcees is one of the best in the game. However, it can be tough to keep everyone happy with so many mouths to feed, so to speak. Ab-Soul is the only artist of the bunch who hasn’t released a critically-acclaimed and widely promoted album. His last project, These Days… came out after ScHoolboy Q’s widely popular Oxymoron but it didn’t receive nearly same amount of promotion. The same goes for Jay Rock’s 90059 and any of Kendrick Lamar’s albums.
TDE CEO: "We Don't Stand Behind This RIAA BS"
Yesterday, the RIAA made a move toward modernization by incorporating streams into their certification process for giving out Gold and Platinum record awards. As a result, some albums from the previous year got a bump in their certification, including Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly. You’d think that would be cause for celebration, but not so for Top Dawg Entertainment.
Kendrick Lamar Brings Out Big Sean & Ty Dolla $ign At TDE Holiday Concert
TDE hosted their second annual holiday concert yesterday at Nickerson Gardens, the Watts, CA housing projects where Jay Rock and TDE head honcho Anthony "Top Dog" Tiffith grew up. After giving away innumerable toys, the squad got together for a brief set, performing "Vice City" and their biggest individual hits before bringing out Big Sean for "Alright" & "Blessings" and then Ty Dolla $ign for "Blase." The overcast skies prevented TDE and its fans from enjoying some classic LA sunshine, it was an afternoon for the ages in South Central.
ScHoolboy Q Celebrates His Birthday By "Bumpin" His New Album
ScHoolboy Q has been teasing a new album now and again on Twitter throughout the year, but he never gives away too much info. Today was no different, as Q posted on Instagram, letting fans know he was 'bumpin' his new album to celebrate "H day," otherwise known as his own birthday.
TDE Confirms New Isaiah Rashad Material For 2015
As evidenced by Jay Rock's latest project, TDE are generally a pretty consistent bunch, and one of their more recent additions, Isaiah Rashad proved his worth within the crew with his 2014 debut project, Cilvia Demo. The release order within the close-knit label can be hard to keep track of sometimes, especially when the individual members are consistently claiming next.
Review: Jay Rock's "90059"
Would you believe that Jay Rock has been signed to Top Dawg Entertainment for ten years? They say Rome wasn’t built in a day, and apparently TDE wasn’t either, because Anthony Tiffith and his group of MCs have been hacking at this hip hop thing for a while now.

Is Jay Rock's "90059" Dropping Next Week?
Jay Rock has decided to take a unique approach with the release strategy for his sophomore album 90059. Instead of a concrete release date, Jay Rock & TDE are allowing the fans to determine when we’ll hear the long-awaited album by the amount of pre-orders it reaches on iTunes. Nevertheless, it looks like the goal must be really close to being reached, because a release date has just surfaced online tonight.
