Melvin Ingram has an interesting pre-game ritual.

Los Angeles Chargers (still feels weird calling them that) defensive end Melvin Ingram recently revealed who he listens to before games to get locked in and focused: himself.

As per TMZ, the NFLer said that he "definitely" listens to his own rap records, recorded under the stage name SupaMel, before he goes out and plays sometimes. He also said that he's doing his best to bring "real rap" back by "painting pictures" with his rhymes.

That type of response could be viewed as somewhat overconfident, but the man is repped by Jay-Z's company Roc Nation, so who knows. Maybe he and Hov have already spoken about a post-football career as an emcee?

Check out a clip of one of his rap songs and judge for yourself - skills behind the mic or no?
