They weren't feeling Kodak Black though.

In a surprising turn of events, Lil Xan may actually have bars. While he admitted that his latest album may have been rushed, future Xan projects will help gauge the artist's longevity. Over the course of a few months, he gained notoriety by rating Tupac's clout levels astronomically low in an interview. Based on the backlash he received, it was definitely not the smartest idea he's ever had. While he's managed to get on many people's bad side in a short amount of time, Xan will need to work hard in order to regain the audience's trust. It seems he has some influential fans of his own though as, during a recent episode of Rate The Bars, EPMD was impressed by Diego's lyricism and metaphors.

Erick Sermon and PMD hooked up to give their take on some of today's most prominent songs, as well as a few of the greats. While they rolled off bars written by Havoc, Lady Luck, Das EFX, and others, they were also presented with songs by Lil Skies, Kodak Black, and Lil Xan. Surprisingly, the crew enjoyed Lil Skies' bars, believing the song was written by Lil Wayne. When it came time to review Kodak Black, Sermon and PMD were severely unimpressed, giving him a 2 out of 5.

They ended by rating Lil Xan's bars and nobody could have been expecting their reaction other than Diego himself. Reading out his "Betrayed" lyrics, EPMD were noticeably feeling his skills, giving him a near perfect score of 4.5 out of 5. And we're not even lying. Check out the video below and see for yourself.
