Back in April 2017, Johnny Depp was filming the upcoming Biggie Smalls film titled City of Lies that is focused around L.A.P.D. detective Russell Poole trying to solve the murder of The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur. According to new reports, location manager Gregg "Rocky" Brooks was working on location with Johnny and had to inform him that he only had a couple more shots to finish up a scene.
Johnny was reportedly working with two of his friends on the scene in downtown Los Angeles when Rocky approached Johnny to tell him he was on a time crunch. The documents say that Rocky was concerned about Johnny's volatility and called on two LAPD cops for back up. Before Rocky could even reach the cops, Johnny attacked him and began screaming "who the f*** are you? You have no right to tell me what to do."
Johnny apparently punched him twice in the rib cage and then yelled at Rocky: "I will give you $100,000 to punch me in the face right now." Jony still continued his tirade and was removed by bodyguards.
Rocky is suing for an unspecified amount and claims that Johnny reeked of alcohol while he was attacking him.
