The "More Life" star has been charting for almost a decade!

When discussing Drake's past and present chart dominance, the numbers don't lie.

In a tweet posted a few hours ago by the OVO Sound account, the claim is made that, since "Best I Ever Had" was released in 2009, there has not been a week in a calendar year since then where Drake hasn't had a song on the Hot 100.

The fact, while impossible-seeming, does check out. We reported back in January that the Torontonian had spend 400 consecutive weeks on the Hot 100, a stat that puts him in elite company.

Our research today showed that, with the continued success of More Life with listeners, there hasn't been a gap in the first six months of 2017. So, the streak rolls on. No one can be sure how long he can keep this up, but if rumors of studio visits mean that new music may soon be on the way again from Drake, I don't see his incredible run stopping any time soon.
