Movie soundtracks have been extensively strong this year as we've seen with the success of the music from The Greatest Showman and, especially, Black Panther. Filmmakers are going hard trying to craft the next great film soundtrack and Black Panther's successor may have arrived. The Disney sci-fi adventure film A Wrinkle in Time is already set to include Sade (which we're incredibly stoked about) and now a preview of a DJ Khaled track with Demi Lovato has been officially shared.
From the sounds of it, the song is inspiring and uplifting, focusing on self-confidence and the ability to do anything you put your mind to. The content of the song seems perfect for a movie of it's kind, with the Disney flick catering mostly to a young, impressionable audience. The preview is mostly detailing Demi Lovato's section of the song and it's unsure if Khaled has a full verse or if he'll be doing his usual yelling random words and producing. Regardless, it's always fun to hear what catchphrases Khaled can come up with, as most of anything he says hooks his listeners.
The Ava DuVernay-directed film is set to release next month with Oprah Winfrey, Mindy Kaling and Reese Witherspoon starring in the movie. With Sade, Sia, Kehlani and now DJ Khaled and Demi Lovato confirmed for the soundtrack, this could be the next pop smash.
