Lupe Fiasco Feat. Nikki Jean "Madonna" Video
Lupe Fiasco's Tetsuo & Youth was Lupe Fiasco's best album in years, matching strong production and skillful wordplay with potent social commentary. His videos have done similarly well in matching the political with the artful. "Madonna," the latest visual from the LP follows a young boy, as he goes about his work day, followed by an older woman struggling with drug abuse. By the end of the clip, their stories become intertwined.

Lupe Fiasco Explains Why "Chopper" is "Too Damn Long" On Sway In The Morning
Lupe Fiasco did not hold back on the track lengths for his latest studio album, Tetsuo & Youth, breaching the 8 minute mark 3 times over the course of the album, and reaching 6 minutes or so just about everywhere else. While it seemed Fiasco simply didn't put limitations on his creativity, an interview with Sway reveals that he actually feels "Chopper" is "too damn long", explaining that when he commissioned verses for the project, he sent out 32 bar instrumentals, and while he expected to get 16s back, all sic collaborators filled out the complete set of bars.

Lupe Fiasco surprised us with the first single for his new album, Tetsuo & Youth, dropping off of a song both uncompromising and approachable, and teaming up once again with unlikely collaborator Ty Dolla $ign. The song centers around the stigma around lower income Chicago neighborhoods, centering around an idea that pizza delivery men will no longer set foot in certain areas. The visual helps illustrate this point, as we get a first hand perspective of the neighborhoods in question.

Unfortunately, the visual never saw the light of day. Today, we finally get to see the product of that video shoot lost in time. The video comes attached with a lengthy statement from the director.
