To call 6ix9ine's November a "rough month" is an understatement. On November 19th, the rainbow-haired rapper found himself arrested on a series of federal charges, including racketeering and firearm charges; while details surrounding the case itself are complex, be sure to familiarize yourself with the timeline of Tekashi's arrest right here. Now, a new development has been reported courtesy of TMZ. It would appear that 6ix9ine has officially issued a plea of "Not Guilty," and the judge has set a court date accordingly: September 4th, 2019.

Seeing as that's only a little short of a year away, it's entirely possible that Tekashi will be spending the duration of the wait behind bars. As of now, discourse surrounding bail has quieted down; lawyer Lance Lazarro has been crusading for the cause, but as of yet, to no avail. The feds seem to think 6ix9ine has been involved in some heavy activity, including personally participating in armed robbery. Lazarro, however, has claimed the rapper's gangland persona is strictly in the name of building a persona.

Though it might be a minute since we hear from Tekashi 6ix9ine, his album Dummy Boy has been circulating around the internet. One has to wonder if his team will hold fast to the embargo, or simply release the project as planned; might as well start building up the rapper's streaming numbers, especially if he'll be gone till September, he'll be gone till September, he'll be gone till September
