What are Nipsey Hussle and Young Thug cooking up?

Nipsey Hussle has been enjoying quite the eventful weekend. After proving that his pimp hand was indeed strong at the BET Awards, Nipsey seems to have returned to the studio, alongside an unlikely collaborator - Young Thug. Though the pair have collaborated before, stylistically, they seem cut from different cloths entirely. Still, it's hard to deny the chemistry between the two artists.

Taking to his Instagram story to flex, Thugger posted up a snippet of Nipsey vibing out to a new, dance-friendly banger. Deep in the red plastic cup, Nipsey's bars can be heard from the speakers, as he raps "check the tax bracket I'm a cash captain, I got post traumatic stress from my last famine, I'm the first one out my set no to crash land it, on a jet, posting pictures with the flag caption."

It's unclear where this track might originate from, but it would appear that Thug is involved to some capacity. Perhaps the Nipsey collaboration might end up on the upcoming Slime Language project, although if so, Thugger has kept his involvement under heavy wraps.

Either way, it's a testament to Nipsey's rising status in the game. After dropping off Victory Lap earlier this year, many were quick to solidify him as one of the West Coast's leading voices, somehow blending OG wisdom with a young rapper's hunger. The story might not last forever, but those looking to catch the snippet should check out Thug's story right here
