Lil Durk & Young Chop team up for the new song "Messenger Bag."

Lil Durk has been quietly feeding the streets with plenty of new heat this past year. In fact, dating back to last July, the Chicago-turned-ATL rapper has released three full-length projects, including Lil Durk 2X, Never Forget, & most recently Love Songs For The Streets, but even that is not all of his work. A couple weeks ago, Durk joined forces with fellow Chicago rapper Lil Reese for a joint EP called Supa Vultures, and now he’s already prepping the release of Signed To The Streets 3. But before that arrives, the OTF rapper decides to link up with fellow Chi-town hitmaker Young Chop for a new song called “Messenger Bag.”

Going in over the J Grand-produced beat, Chop brings the title to life & boast about carrying a whole lot of cash in his “messenger bag,” while Durk follows in suit & raps abut his designer gear & having xans on deck in the process. It’s unclear at the moment on where this will end up, but seeing how Chop handles two verses & the hook, it’s got me presuming this will see life on the hitmaker’s next project, whenever that’ll be.

Following up Durk’s latest video for “Nobody Knows,” take a listen to the feel-good banger & let us know what you think. Look for a new music video to be on the way as well, stay tuned.

Quotable Lyrics:

What you got, in my messenger bag (Gucci)
Got a bag for my bag, got a whole lotta cash
In my messenger bag (Gucci), don't think a nigga lackin keep that mothafuckin strap
What you got, in my messenger bag (Gucci)
Got a bag for my bag, got a whole lotta cash
In my messenger bag (Gucci), don't think a nigga lackin keep that mothafuckin strap
