Rapper Meek Mill just dropped another studio album Wins and Losses. The Philly-born MC and member of Maybach Music Group is known for his lyrical storytelling abilities and being one of hip-hop’s voices for the streets. If you analyze Mill’s career in the game you’ll be able to see all of the many obstacles this young man overcame while chasing his dream to be a successful artist. He never shies away from using his lyrics to illustrate the socio-economical challenges he faced growing up in North Philadelphia. In an 2016 interview with Taxstone, Meek talks about his trials and tribulations in hip-hop and his mission to inspire the younger generation. In light of his newly released album, Wins and Losses, we’re going to take a quick look at some of the losses in Meek’s career, and how they did not stop the Philly MC from getting to all of his well-deserved wins.
