Yesterday MMG kicked off the promotion for their upcoming Self-Made Vol. 4 album with a new single that features the main pillars of the crew-- Rick Ross, Meek Mill and Wale on "Make It Work." The record was big in sound and energy, typical for Maybach Music Group, but for those wanting to hear more Wale and less hype, well "Her Wave" fits the bill.
The record takes its cue from a Miguel record ("Waves"), with a sample of the song buried into the background of the watery and melancholic production provided by Habib, August Grant, & Channel 3. It looks like Wale is warming fans up for his upcoming album, S.H.I.N.E. (Still Here Ignoring Negative Energy), due out later this year.
