"It's time to go crazy," Vince Staples tweeted last night. He returned to Twitter tonight to confirm the imminent arrival of new music, tweeting a release date as well as the cover artwork for his next album, Big Fish Theory

As per the tweets, Big Fish Theory -- the long-awaited follow-up to 2015's Summertime '06 -- will be out on Friday, May 19 at midnight. Usually the streaming platforms operate on Eastern time, though Staples didn't specify a time zone.

Last month, Staples told Complex that Big Fish Theory explores the notion of "being larger than life in a smaller world." The only single he has released since Summertime '06 is February's "BagBak." Judging by the aquarium footage that accompanies the YouTube stream, the single will likely land on Big Fish Theory
