Vanessa Bryant posted a touching caption to Instagram, celebrating her daughter's 14th birthday.

Vanessa Bryant has had to be one of the strongest women in the world over the last three months following the death of her husband Kobe and daughter Gianna. The two passed away in a helicopter crash that claimed the lives of seven others and for months now, the entire basketball world has been looking for answers as to how this could have happened.

Gianna and her Mamba Sports Academy teammates were recently made honorary draft picks by the WNBA and today, Vanessa is celebrating GiGi on what would have been her 14th birthday. In fact, Bryant took to Instagram where she posted a touching tribute to her late daughter.

"Happy 14th Birthday to my sweet baby girl, Gianna. Mommy loves you more than I can ever show you. You are part of MY SOUL forever. I miss you so much everyday. I wish I could wake up and have you here with me. I miss your smile, your hugs and your giggles. I miss EVERYTHING about YOU, Gigi. I LOVE YOU so much!!!!!!!" Vanessa wrote.

Gianna and Kobe have received numerous wonderful tributes over the past couple of months and if you're a basketball fan, you can't help but be touched by the outpouring of support in the community.
