Trippie Redd is one of the fastest-rising names in the rap game. Having massed over millions views on his soundcloud page and already working with the likes of D.R.A.M., Lil Wayne, and fellow internet sensation XXXTentacion, the 18-year old Ohio crooner has built an insanely strong following & buzz for himself in short a little time, becoming one of the “next up” in the soundcloud rap era.

Last month, Trippie released an impressive 13-track project called A Love Letter To You 2, which was then followed up with a joint EP with Lil Wop last week called Angels & Demons. But rather than promoting his new project with Wop, Trippie decides to revisit last month’s sequel to A Love Letter To You, and share a new video in its support for the track “Overweight,” featuring Chris King.

Directed by Lake Films, Trippie roams the streets flaunting his cash with the Mountains in the background, while some visual effects are added to spice things up in this follow up to his “Rack City/ Love Scars 2” video.

The video surfaces just a week after rumors were circulating online that Trippie had music with Drake on the way. While nothing has been confirmed or announced, Drake has been recognizing Trippie’s work, even “liking” & “commenting” in one of his IG posts (see here ICYMI). Aside from Drizzy, we also know that Trippie has an upcoming collab with EDM producer Diplo on the way, which he previewed a couple weeks on Instagram (see here).

Check out the official video (above) and let us know what you think. A Love Letter To You 2 is available now on iTunes, as is Angels & Demons
