Trippie Redd finally meets one of his favorite emcees.

Trippie Redd has always been pretty vocal about his appreciation and respect for J Cole. Hell, just back in May, the Ohio artist praised the Dreamville rapper for his lyrical ability and said that he knew Cole was going to be an all-time great from the moment he first heard him years ago.

"I grew up listening to J. Cole," Trippie said in an interview. "I just knew when he first came out, [he's] one of the GOATs. He's hard, regardless of what you think. He is a rapper. He gives you nothing but bars and lyrical play, which is amazing. His lyrical play is distinct. He'll say some real shit and he'll play around with it and give you the real shit the whole time."

The respect for one another hasn’t been one-side either. J. Cole has also showed support for Trippie a couple times too, even commenting the lyrics to a song of his on one of his IG posts (see here).

Well with the mutual respect there, Trippie and Jermaine finally got to meet each other Tuesday night, or so it appears. Trippie took to his IG last night and shared a picture of him and Cole, while leaving the caption “KOD x TR666.” It’s unclear at the moment as for why or where exactly the two linked up at, but it definitely left fans hoping for a future collab, although that doesn't look to be what they were doing here.

Check out the photo (below) and let us know your thoughts. Would you like to see these to do a song together or nah?
