In advance of his third studio album STARBOY, The Weeknd has shared a short film M A N I A, which features some new music from the project. The video is directed by Grant Singer, who previously worked with Abel on the visual treatments of "Starboy" and "Tell Your Friends."
The video begins stylish and cinematic, opening with a scene featuring a menacing black panther, before cutting to Abel cruising in his Aventador. However, in the second half, things takes a very dark turn -- as most Weeknd videos tend to.
Future can be heard on the track that opens the film ("All I Know"), while "Sidewalks," a track set to feature Kendrick Lamar, is also featured, though you'll have to wait 'til the album drops to hear his verse.
