Promoters claim this is the second time Tekashi 6ix9ine has canceled on them.

Tekashi 6ix9ine received some great news on Friday when the judge ruled that he'd serve four years of probation instead of prison time for his child sex case from 2015. The rapper's been celebrating the sentencing, but it looks like he may have gotten too caught up in it this past weekend. While the rapper was booked to perform at Howard University's Homecoming show this weekend, the rapper seemingly flopped in order to perform at Powerhouse in New Jersey.

Promoters are considering legal action against Tekashi 6ix9ine after he canceled his performance at Howard University's Homecoming 35 minutes minutes before the venue opened their doors, TMZ reports. The concert was set to take place on Sunday and promoters said they lost around $300K after they refunded concert tickets to over 3,000 people. 6ix9ine's no-show forced the promoters and organizers to turn away 400 people who were waiting in line to make their way inside the concert.

Tekashi 6ix9ine was reportedly paid $60K in advance for the Homecoming show. Promoters claimed this is the second time 6ix9ine flopped on them.

What's strange is that Tekashi 6ix9ine was in New Jersey that same day where he performed a surprise set at Powerhouse in New Jersey. The rapper wasn't even scheduled for a performance at Power 105.1's Powerhouse NYC show, but 6ix9ine reportedly played nearly a full set which included his songs, "GUMMO," "FEFE," "STOOPID" and more.
