T-Pain continues to prove that he's nowhere close to hanging up the mic (or the auto-tune). He's made a big comeback in 2015, and his newest, "Roof on Fye," is one of the best he's dropped this year.
It's a song made for the club but with a softer instrumental than we heard on most of The Iron Way. In the gaps in between the fluttering harps and subtle hi-hats, Pain drops non-stop mini-hooks and seamlessly harmonizes his way through a flurry of impressive vocal switch-ups. This one blends T-Pain's pop sensibilities with that hot and sweaty club feel that he's always been able to create.
No word if "Roof on Fye" will appear on Pain's upcoming album, Stoicville: The Phoenix.
