T-Pain just dropped a No DJ version of his epic mixtape The Iron Way, and that's cause for celebration. The No DJ version of "Kill These Niggas," for example, is a catchy track that's just an all-around better listening experience without DJ Drama chirping in the middle of T-Pain's verse.
"Kill These Niggas," the mixtape's opening track, starts off with some vintage T-Pain crooning and harmonizing over a spare, bouncy DJ Mustard-esque bassline before escalating into what can only be described as a surefire club banger. Elements of electronic music didn't really start seeping into hip-hop until after T-Pain's peak in the mid-00's, and if "Kill These Niggas" is any indication they definitely play to his style and strengths.
