SZA dons her nurse apparel in Maroon 5's upcoming single.

Over the course of their career, Maroon 5 have made the gradual climb into pop ubiquity, trading in the subtle nuance of breakout hit "She Will Be Loved," in exchange for the grandstanding bravado of recent smash hit "Moves Like Jagger." Still, there's no denying that Adam Levine knows his hip-hop, and is clearly respected within the genre. To contextualize, Levine has collaborated with Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Future, Gucci Mane, Big Boi, and Wiz Khalifa, and currently looks to expand his repertoire.

Recently, the band made the announcement that their new single would feature yet another TDE collaboration, this time with the label's first lady SZA. The single, titled "What Lovers Do," promises to be pretty damn promiscuous, especially considering the suggestive artwork. The single is set to drop on Wednesday, August 30th, along with what looks like an equally promiscuous video. In another post found on Twitter, SZA can be seen on the set of a video, dressed in every man's top-five Halloween costumes of all time - a sexy nurse. In case you weren't hyped for the song itself, perhaps the music video may prove worthwhile.

A bandaged Levine describes SZA's character as "an evil nurse slash love of my life, in the video...it's tragic, man." Well, as they say, one man's tragedy is another man's triumph. Speaking of triumph, it has been quite the eventful year for the TDE songstress. Coming off her excellent debut album CTRL, SZA is currently on the road for an extensive tour. For someone who once seemed so frustrated with the trajectory of her career, it's nice to see her succeeding to such an extent.

Remember, "What Lovers Do" drops Wednesday, so be sure to check back then for the latest from SZA and Maroon 5.
