Swizz Beatz and Timbaland are two of the most influential producers in hip hop. The two have proven over the years their ears for production and knowing the right people to give the beats to. The two of them agreed earlier this summer that they'd be have a beat battle against each other. While there hasn't been any other developments pertaining to it, Swizz Beatz took to Instagram today to not only further push the challenge on Timbaland but also preview some brand new, unreleased Lil Wayne music that is apparently on Swizz Beatz next project I'm With The Smoke.

Lil Wayne sounds like he's back to rapping circles around everybody as he did during his reign in the late 00's. The hook contains a sample of Lil Wayne's verse on Drake's "Forever" where he says "pistol on my side, you don't want to hear that thing talk." The beat is also fire, as to be expected but it definitely seems like Swizz Beatz has something in store for Timbaland. Throughout the preview, Swizz Beatz provides his signature ad-libs while parked in his car. He's definitely as excited as we are for this project.

His Instagram posts caption reads "That's how you feel @timbaland ok I'm reloaded 🚀 we can battle on stage with the hits and new beats plus battle with the Albums and drop them on the same day I'm with all the smoke 💨💨💨💨 BRONX NYC!!!!!!!! I'm in a good mood !!!!!!!!! Let's Gooooooooooooooooioooooo! Shout out Wayne killing it! #mclaren720 💨New wayne off my Album"

Right before Swizz dropped that clip, Timbaland fired the first shots reminding him that the beat battle will definitely happen.

He posted a video on Instagram, previewing a new song with Meek Mill which also sounds crazy. In the caption to the video it read "@therealswizzz so we're working album now right??? What you think fans? I'm still working on my craft cause I'm never satisfied. This #beat #can #change 🤖 @meekmill let's finish up.."

While the two have been throwing exchanges at each other on social media, hopefully we get a solidified date of when this will be going down.
