Soulja Boy has been hit with felony gun charges. The rapper faces charges for possession of an assault weapon and possession of a firearm as a felon. The charges come from Soulja Boy's arrest over a probation violation in December, where cops found firearms in the rapper's house.
According to TMZ, one of the guns found in the rapper's house was reportedly stolen from a cop car. Another weapon found was a Mini Draco AR-15, which TMZ suggests is an assault weapon that is illegal for anyone in the state of California to possess.
Soulja could face up to 4 years in prison if convicted. The rapper was arrested in December after he threatened people online with a gun. He posted bail and was released the next day.
