After a hiatus, Soulja Boy is back to dropping new songs on a regular basis.

After sharing "Bands Up" last weekend, Soulja Boy has returned with yet another new song called "New Chains." The track sees him teaming with buzzing Florida producer Ronny J, who has put in work with the likes of Denzel Curry, Ski Mask The Slump God, and Smokepurpp, among others. Soulja successfully marries his style with the distorted subs of Ronny, reminding us once again that he is one of rap's proven chameleons. He is expected to release a new project called Soulja Season in the near future, though it is unclear if his recent SoundCloud tracks will appear on it. As he moves into making music not all that unlike the most recent wave of new Southern rappers, Soulja has also inspired them, most notably Yachty, who recently showed off a chain that took influence from Soulja, who he considers an idol despite the two experiencing some issues last year.

Quotable Lyrics:
Walk in the club and I make it rain
I got a VVS chain
And it look like a hurricane
$50,000 in my Balmains
I just got call my jeweler
Pull up with ice chains
Hop out the 'rari
Then jump in the airplane
