Today HNHH is pleased to bring you Keepin It 400, a mixtape by Pushaz Ink artist Slim 400. Accompanying the tape is the video for the song "In My Hood," which is also premiering today.
In the purple-tinted clip, we see Slim 400 take multiple plugs from a bottle of Henny while hanging out in the house. YG, DJ Mustard and Jeezy all make cameos, but the real star here is Slim, who rides over the song's ominous production with ease. YG's My Krazy Life laid the template for blending ratchet and old-school g-funk, and now Slim 400's taking that sound and making it even truer to early '90s L.A.
