Tons of Soulja Boy Tell 'Em's fans and more than a few of his musical counterparts all came out to celebrate the youngster's birthday in Hollywood, Calif., on Wednesday (July 28). The Atlanta native turned the big 2-0, and came another year closer to the legal drinking age.

Young Money's femme fatale Nicki Minajpromised that when she reached a million followers on Twitter, she would hop on Ustream and announce her album title. After hitting a milli last week, Nicki honored her promise and hosted a web chat session last night (August 3), during which 13,000 users stopped in to watch. After calling fans that supplied their number via Twitter, she revealed her debut's title, 'Pink Friday,' which was named for its release on November 23 - the same week as Black Friday.

After serving less than half of his 90-day sentence, DMX  has been released from a Los Angeles prison. The Yonkers native was freed Thursday (Aug. 12) afternoon after serving only 18 days behind bars for a probation violation, stemming from a 2002 reckless driving conviction. X turned himself in late July after his release from an Arizona prison where he had just served six months behind bars for violating parole with substance abuse.

Rappers Game and Kanye West voiced their opinions about Drake and Justin Bieber being snubbed in the "Best New Artist" category during last night's Grammy Awards.



Via Twitter, Game vouched support for Drake.

Reports indicate that Flo Rida arrived late to a festival in Australia and was turned away from the venue. Later, police raided his hotel suite and found drugs.



Over the weekend, reports surfaced that Flo Rida did not appear as scheduled for Newcastle's Fat As Butter festival in Australia. Promoters later noted that Flo Rida's absence had to do with him arriving late and him not being "in a suitable condition to perform." T.I. recently released the second trailer for his upcoming mixtape Fuck Da City Up, dropping New Year’s Day, and included footage of him in the studio with Dr. Dre. Speaking with MTV News, Tip said that the two were “creating chemistry” for the tape and that he wants to work closer with the West Coast veteran.



“Dre was here. He sent for me over to the spot. We really just turned up more than anything else. It was about creating chemistry," he said.

The rapper accused in the murder of Brick Squad affiliate Slim Dunkin, on December 16th, has turned himself into the police. Young Vito was urged by the Atlanta police to turn himself.

Young Vito, whose real name is Vinson Hardimon,  was residing in Fulton County jail on the charges of murder and gun possession, waiting on a bond hearing.

A month or two ago there was a video making its way around the internet which promoted the MegaUpload website. The controversy surrounding Amber Rose continues.

Since Chris Brown and Rihanna have hopped on each other's songs, they've caused a lot of people to start talking, and not in a good way.

One of the people who has spoken out against Chris Brown is WWE champion, CM Punk. He and Breezy have exchanged words over Twitter.
