Robin Thicke is ready to make a comeback. The crooner dropped a new love song today called "Testify" through his own label, Thicke Music, in collaboration with EMPIRE. "Testify" is the lead single off his upcoming project and seems to define his appreciation for the current stage of his life. The record is a personal account as Thicke speaks of his missteps, his losses and the solace he finds in true love.
Robin described the intentions behind the song as well as the forthcoming album's themes.
“When I made this record I wanted to sing my whole truth and lead off the new album singing my ass off.”
“So I think sometimes tragedy makes you count your blessings. So the album will hopefully be littered with some spirituality and some finding yourself. But it also is about, let’s celebrate all this greatness we have around us.”
The current single's lyrics appear as an ode of love and loyalty for his girlfriend April Love Geary. The couple is expanding their family, having conceived a second child only months after the birth of their daughter, Mia.
