Rihanna is all kinds of grateful since her country has recognized her success.

We've said it once and we'll say it again, Rihanna is boss as hell. All of her success in the music lane, fashion lane, humanitarian lane and now beauty lane has led her to being greatly recognized by her homeland, Barbados.

We announced back in October that Rihanna was set to have a street named after her in her hometown and just yesterday was the official unveiling. Rihanna Drive, formerly Westbury New Road, is the street where Riri's whole life was shaped. The 29-year-old has followed up her celebration with a heartwarming post to Instagram, detailing some memorable childhood moments.

If anyone has also grown up in the Caribbean, you'll be able to relate to her recalling of walking to the closest "shop" in your neighbourhood to buy "American snacks" or "braiding hair on the step."

"WESTBURY is more than a community, we're family!!! Thank you for all that you've poured into my life and the woman I am! It takes a village, and I'm glad my village was you!!!! To God be the Glory!!!!" she ends her statement. Read the full caption below.
