Rihanna has released some new songs over the last few months, but each feels a bit like a false start to her album roll out. Of course, the LP is expected to be a surprise release, but the singles floating around have only made fans more anxious for any news on the tentatively titled R8.
A new announcement now holds out hope for another update on the album, as RiRi has been named as the final musical guest on Saturday Night Live this season. Whether this coincides with a single release, the album drop, or simply just a live incarnation of new music, Rihanna fans definitely have something to get excited about.
