Open Mike Eagle is back.
This year, fans will get to hear his latest full-length offering What Happens When I Try To Relax, but before that gets here, OME has shared his latest "Relatable" track. In parentheses, the track title reads, "peak OME" and that's just what we get. Mike is on the attack with this one and it's a reassuring preview of What Happens When I Try To Relax.
“It’s too complicated for a quick explanation. It's about a lot of things," Mike says of the new track, produced by NEDARB. "It’s about expectations of form, anxiety, middle age, and middle class. And that’s just the parts I know how to put into words a couple months after writing it."
What Happens When I Try To Relax arrives in conjunction with a new tour run that will go throughout North America and Europe, kicking off on September 27th in Washington D.C to terminate on November 23rd in Las Vegas.
