Over the weekend, news surfaced online that Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson was leaving the franchise after an investigation for alleged workplace misconduct arised. Shortly after this news was revealed, Diddy hopped on Twitter and flirted with the idea of wanting to buy the Panthers.
“There are no majority African American NFL owners. Let’s make history,” he tweeted Sunday night before adding… “this is God’s work. It’s time!!,” Diddy said. “ATTN all @NFL owners, it’s time for diversity!! It’s time for Black ownership!! The time is now. Let’s make it happen!!”
“I will be the best NFL owner that you can imagine,” Diddy later added via Instagram. “I will immediately address the Colin Kaepernick situation and put him in the running for next year's starting quarterback.” Diddy also promised “the best halftime show, the best selection of music” and a Super Bowl victory as well.
While the idea of Diddy owning the Panthers continues to pick up momentum, it’s safe to say Fox News doesn't want that to be the case. In fact, Fox decided to make fun of the Bad Boy CEO, and even roast him live on air Monday night, saying he’s busy getting high and “drinking a 40.”
However one particular rapper, Nipsey Hussle, didn’t take Fox’s antics too kindly. Nipsey hopped on Instagram Monday night and blasted Fox for their offensive comments. Nipsey wrote…
