Last year, Kanye West took the stage at the first-ever Austin, Texas-set X-Games, and continuing in that tradition, the event has asked Nicki Minaj to headline this year. Minaj promised an especially extreme performance for the occasion, telling TheWrap “I look forward to channeling the energy and spirit from the X Games into a performance Austin will not forget.”
The games are set to go down from June 4th to 7th, and will be rounded out by performances from Talib Kweli, Pennywise, and Deltron 3030 on the musical side of things.
More headliners are still yet to be announced, but we're willing to bet that Minaj set will be the unmissable event of the weekend.
