Remember Mischa Barton? The smoke show blonde who played Marissa Cooper on the Fox hit-series The O.C. Well it turns out she’s making her return to the small screen, this time joining the cast of MTV’s The Hills.
The Hills official twitter announced the news on Wednesday, sharing a President Trump-like tweet that read: “THIS IS NOT A TEST @MischaBarton is joining the cast of #TheHills: New Beginnings!”
Mischa herself took to Instagram on Wednesday to address her decision to join the cast of The Hills reboot, calling the opportunity an "irresistibly inviting new chapter."

According to a press release from MTV, the show will "reunite original cast members, alongside their children and friends, and follow their personal and professional lives while living in Los Angeles. With new faces in the picture and returning favorites, 'The Hills' is back for a new beginning.” Barton will star alongside returning members from the original series like Audrina Patridge, Brody Jenner, Whitney Port, Spencer Pratt, and more.
