Migos' big breakthrough came by way of Drake's remix of their 2013 song "Versace." They connected a year later on "Trophies." In a new interview with DJ Whoo Kid, Migos suggested that a third collaboration with Drake is coming down the pipe.
“He always be popping up and let us know he see us,” Quavo said about Drake. “We ain’t got no relationship with him, but I know he watching and he respect the wave and he knows what’s going on. And we got something on the way.”
Given that Migos released an album less than a week ago and Drake has hinted that he is going to drop More Life in less than a month, More Life is the most logical home for such a collaboration. Earlier this week during an interview with Ebro, Quavo recalled watching a video in 2013 in which Drake argued to DJ Drama that Migos were more popping than Rich Homie Quan. "When I seen that, I knew he wanted to work with us," he said.
