Last week, Mick Jenkins got fans hyped up after he revealed that he'll be dropping new music in the near future. While he didn't reveal much, he did say that it would be dropping in a few days. We didn't receive anything from him during the week but today, he gives us an update. The rapper hit social media to announce his new project.
Mick Jenkins hit Twitter to reveal his new project or more... the frustration. He shared the cover art and the tracklist for the project. While it's only six songs, he posted the tracklist on Instagram with the caption, "Just some pieces to get y’all ready for the album." He didn't give a specific date on when we'll receive it but after he posted the tracklist and on Twitter, he wrote, "Anyways... this comes out in a day or 2 or 3 or more..." At least there's a timeline and we'll be seeing some new Mick Jenkins soon.
In early 2017, he said that he'd drop two projects within the year but he ended up only releasing or more; the anxious in November. The short project held the fans over but from what he's said in his Instagram post, he's been in full blown album mode. Hopefully after or more... the frustration, he'll release another album.
