Along with Popcaan, Jamaica's Mavado was one of the guys who came up under dancehall legend Vybz Kartel before he went away for life on murder charges. Today, Kartel shows up on a remix of Mavado's "I Ain't Going Back Broke" along with Ace Hood and Future.
The catchy track is bolstered by strong vocal performances from Mavado and Mr. Freebandz on the hook, and great verses by Kartel and Ace. The latter's, coming at the very end of the track, is one his most melodic, seamlessly blending in with the auto-tune-loving dancehall artists while still displaying his lyrical gift.
