Martha Stewart is jumping into the cannabis industry.

Martha Stewart's expanding her business portfolio into the cannabis industry, USA Today reports. Stewart has teamed up with major cannabis producer, Canopy Growth, to develop a new line of CBD products. CBD is the other component in the cannabis plant that does not provide psychoactive effects. It's often used as an alternative to pharmaceuticals for certain diseases and illnesses.

Canopy Growth's mission will be to improve the lives of both animals and humans with CBD. They're currently undergoing clinical trials for their products with Martha. Stewart will be advising the company while they develop the new line of CBD products. The CBD products they're working with now are geared towards animal health.

“I am delighted to establish this partnership with Canopy Growth and share with them the knowledge I have gained after years of experience in the subject of living,” Stewart said in a statement. “I’m especially looking forward to our first collaboration together, which will offer sensible products for people’s beloved pets.”

Bruce Linton, Canopy Growth Chairman and co-CEO, said that they hope that working with Martha will help bring their product to another level.

“As soon as you hear the name Martha, you know exactly who we’re talking about,”  Linton said. “Martha is one of a kind and I am so excited to be able to work alongside this icon to sharpen our CBD product offerings across categories from human to animal.”
