Lil Xan keeps the joke running, posting a photo of himself at his "new job."

Last week, Lil Xan made headlines after making some controversial comments during an interview about Tupac's level of clout. Many rappers have weighed in on the situation, but the most notable was Waka Flocka who straight up banned Xan from hip-hop altogether. While Waka may not have the level of authority to be banning people from making music, it does raise questions regarding the newer generation's respect for those who paved a lane for them to succeed. Lil Xan has already commented on the situation, saying he's not going anywhere, but now he has revived the situation by posting a photo of himself abiding by Waka's rules.

"Had to get a new job since I’m banned from hip hop," said Lil Xan before adding plenty of laughing emojis. Diego posted an image of himself sitting behind an empty desk in a corporate-looking space. The gig does not look like the fanciest place, but Xan is grinning nonetheless. The photo comes after his direct response to those critiquing him for stating his opinion.

Lil Xan's joke makes light of the situation, which will certainly not sit well with those who took the initial comments to heart. However, it is nice to see that the backlash has not affected him in the least, garnering further attention to his name and announcing an official release date for his Total Xanarchy project.
