Lately, the Tupac comparisons have been flying around swiftly.
With the premiere of the late rapper's biopic on the horizon and his recent induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, it seems that his memory has been at a heightened level of discussion as of late.
Most recently, Chicago rapper Lil Durk took to Twitter to give a nod to Atlanta's Future, saluting the rapper with a tweet that read, " you the Modern day #2pac for the world."
Naturally, the comparison didn't sit well with all with one user writing, "That's a damn lie & joke."
Similar comparisons have included Troy Ave's "Nupac" moniker in promotion of his latest work.
