Key! has been working heavily with producer Kenny Beats for a minute now, and their collaboration continues (with some help from producer Franchise) with this new track, "Kelly Price Freestyle."
Whether this is an actual freestyle or not, Key! keeps a tight flow throughout the whole thing. Though, the Kelly Price tribute seems to only be an excuse to repeat "the price is going up" over and over. The production is solid as well, offering a melodic, bouncy backdrop for Key! to lay his punchlines over.
Hopefully these continued collaborations will eventually lead to some kind of full length project between Key! and Kenny Beats, but for now the singles are looking pretty solid.
