Kanye West made an abrupt exit during his headlining performance at the Meadows Music & Arts Festival in NYC tonight. While in the middle of performing "Heartless," he was reportedly pulled aside and given some alarming news. Right away, he told the crowd he must cancel the show due to a "family emergency," and then walked off the stage.

One can see the sudden cancellation in the below video. Immediately after the music cuts out, Kanye says, "I'm sorry, there's a family emergency. I have to stop the show." At this point, nothing is known about the family emergency that forced Kanye to abort his headlining set. Check back here as the story develops.
